Only plus point is its location and behaviour of its staff ! Every other thing including food quality is extremely poor. Won't recommend for any reasonable person ! Better avoid ! Look elsewhere especially for fooding !

We booked Room 502 & 503 for 20/09/2023 The location is very good But very very worst Service, very cheep & Inadequate (free) break fast, no complementary Tea or Coffee, very darty & unhygienic kitchen, woter poring from the roof Do not recommend anyone

Dolphin hotel Location is near observatory road approaching Mall. Morning walk and view of mountains excellent. Walking is must as the car is restricted upto the hotel as it is adjacent to Governor house. Food is not so good. But you can enjoy foods at Mall.

This is my first time stay in Hotel Dolphin and I must stay I am pretty pleased. The booking process was pretty smooth. I did book from the hotel website after getting a good deal including breakfast. Location of the property is a plus. Situating next to Raj Bhawan and windows are facing towards the majestic Kanchenjunga. If the weather god is favorable then you can see the peaks from your bed! Since it is a bit far from the Chowrasta, the quiet and peace is very enjoyable. Another advantage of the hotel is the staff behavior. They are always eager to help. With special request they do provide customized food especially for children. Areas of improvement: 1. No Tea/Coffee maker in the room. 2. No Wifi network in the hotel 3. Mobile network is very poor in the rooms. Overall the hotel is recommended.
